Sailing Heals hosts people who are navigating cancer and serious life-threatening illnesses on restorative, inspiriting sailing excursions.
Our purpose is to give those who are diagnosed and their caregivers a break from the physical and mental stresses associated with treatments, disease management, and daily life obligations.

Since the organization was founded in 2011, more than 5,250 guests have experienced the soothing effects of being on the water through our programs. Sailing Heals serves all people across the cancer continuum and their caregivers, regardless of income.
Our 2024 Schooner Sail Schedule
Click here to see dates and times for our chartered group sails aboard Salem’s schooner, FAME. We also offer private sails arranged with our volunteer host captains aboard their vessels.
