We will have sunblock on board but it’s a good idea to apply a full-spectrum sunblock before leaving for the sail. Be sure to dress for the weather, keeping in mind it is often cooler on the water so bringing an extra layer, is a good idea. If you are participating in a sunset sail, be sure to bring a sweater, coat, blanket or wrap- it can be cooler in the evening. Wear sunglasses and a hat that ties or will not blow off. A comfortable tennis shoe or a no-heal, light-soled rubber shoe is advised. Please avoid flip flops or sandals that slip, or any high heels (a danger to you, and they can mark wood on the boat). You may bring bottled non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. These are also available for sale aboard our partner schooners. All boats are equipped with lifejackets. Guests are encouraged to wear them but it is optional. Oh yes, don’t forget your camera! Our current COVID-19 protocol is mask-optional. The number of guests aboard our partner schooners allow for ample space between guests.
